5hp less then the z06 yet over a second slower and no where near the grip in the corners. And for $47k, I'd much rather pay the extra to get a z06 or something like an evo or sti.

for 47 grand your looking at just the c6 vette not the z06 but for that you would get something just (or almost) as fast as the gt500 in the 1/4 mile but better handling. I would much rather shelby have focused on weight reduction rather than power for the gt500 but with the current mustang weight that might be impossible or useless.

I know the z06 isn't 47k...I was saying I would rather just spend the extra 20k to for a z06 if I wanted the performance. But I'd MUCH rather have the coupe for $45k if I was actually gonna spend the money.
