Im sure if he does, he would lose a lot of users, cuz i gurantee you that people wont pay for this site...but i know if he does then someone else will just host a 2k1 site and get it going for free. And for the donation..i mean i guess people could send him a few bucks and stuff....but honestly i think this guy derek has got some cash. I could be wrong, but if you have an S2000, i mean hes got some cash. Anyway, who cares how much money he has? The fack of the matter is running this site is not free and a GUARANTEE you that we all benefit more from this site than he does. I could care less if he has millions of money laying around. He puts in a lot of time and a lot of hard work to make this site what it is. If you think that you can go find a different site where you can get just as much knowledge out of it then by all means I won't miss you. But if you like this site and you feel that you have benefited from it in some way or another, which I think most of us have at least a little bit, then drop him a few dollars. In your response to "He has an S2000, he has money" don't you have a 2k1 or 2k2 Civic?? That tells me that you can afford to spare $5 or $10 since you had the money to buy a new car. Am I right??? Lets try to help him out some, if we all throw in $5 or $10 that should help him pay for the site for at least the next couple of months or more depending on how many of us contribute. Just my $0.02 for the people who think they should get something for nothing. Its not like he's running an online store where he is making money off of us anyway.

damn, why didn't anyone ever tell me I had an S2000, I would be driving that instead. I guess my 50 car garage is so big that it is easy to miss.

I had to fork over the cash to buy the stickers first cause you guys wanted them. Yes I am making money from them, but I need it to keep the site going cause I don't get enough donations. i get 2 million+ page views a month, that is a lot of bandwidth that I have to pay for.
As for charging for the site, that's not exactly how it is gonna be. I will be charging for extra features. Everything that is here now, will stay like this. I will just be adding more features like a real IM and vehicle maintenance schedule etc. I haven't even started working on this yet, so it is a little ways away.

I think your right CivicChick. I've donated before and I bought some stickers. I know I don't post all that much anymore and I do have my reasons behind that. I'm sure you can all figure out why but I do still come to the site. Its taught me a lot so its only fair to give a little something back.
