Quick questions.

Alright, I'm wondering if misalignment of body panels to a small degree is always indication of a previous accident, or if it can also suggest assembly mistakes. Does this civic look like it's been in an accident, or is the misalignment of the hood/back trunk a common or semi-common manufacturing issue?

Anyone?

You're gonna have to zoom in or highlight what you're referring to. The front bumper looks like it was repainted (it doesnt reflect the same shade). If you're referring to the tail lights not exactly lining up, thats a function of the trunk latch, and being slightly off like that I would say is normal.

It looks like a normal old car to me. I would guess that the trunk/hood issue is from lifting and closing it a billion times. Otherwise, I don't see any misalignment issues.

You're most right about that bumper! I normally see things like that while others scratch their heads, but I missed it this time. Much appreciated!

Oh and, I was refering to the hood alignment in relation to the bumper. Notice the two "fangs" of the hood, and the gap there before the bumper. on the left it's smaller. On the right it's larger.

Maybe the hood bump stop on the right side is higher than the one on the left? The little rubber things that stick up, make sure theyre both the same height
