well arent police vics automatic? besides that they dont really beef up engine mods for police cars, atleast not in my area.

it was previously a Texas state-troopers car. Its got a V-8 4.6L engine. 235HP, and 280ft-lbs of torque. and thats without the performance chip. I dont know how much the chip adds. Ive driven the car once or twice, and it can fvckin haul some serious ***. I dont think my brother was really getting into it

and he wants to add a super-charger to it as-well

just from the stats on that site - my bro did better than them his best run was 16.2 against that pink mustang

but yeah, i'm sure once they get goin' they can haul *****. is the suspension done up at all do you know? but for the most part cops dont usually need "super fast" cars, no one out runs the radio.

yea when the police go to trade their cars in, they take out the performance chip before the car gets auctioned, but none the less they do have some go power, this one old guy that lived by me had a caprice with a vette engine no lie!

i mean, his reaction times were crap, so he wasnt accelerating as hard/fast as he could have been. it has the upgraded/re-inforced suspension, and heavy duty driveshaft.

his old car was a stick, so hes not used to launching in an automatic...as dumb as that sounds.... i promise i make since

and youre right - you might outrun a cup, but you wont out run the radio..and its highly unlikely youll outrun a hellicopter too

those cars arn't ment for 1/4 miles thier ment for more top speeds. those cars hual *** on the highway. Most of the time the fast police cars arn't even modified, In Missuri they used to use Fox Body mustangs. Now they use LS1 camaro's/LS2 GTO's but thats the highway patroll. Regular cop cars are all going to the new Impalla SS, here in St.Louis.
