Car back from shop!

I got my car back last friday rfrom getting the repairs done. Overall, i am very pleased with it. Only thing i don't like is the trim piece on the front bumper. I had to drive down to orlando on short notice to get the hood, so i had to order that piece short-notice as well. I am not done with everything i need to do yet though. In about 2 more weeks, it is going to change a little, not saying how but i'm excited about it.
My tcs had been sitting on the floor in front of my tv since the day i got into my accident. It was a constant reminder how how much life sucks.

Anyways, i got my car back at 11am had had the tcs on by noon. I wasn't wasting any time. Only problem i ran in to was one of the nuts to the cat was rusted on, i enede up breaking off the tip of the bolt in the proccess. it was only a thread or two. it made the nut look like a cap. I went all Lou Ferigno on it!

As far as the tcs goes, all i can say is WOW It is by far, the best sounding exaust I have ever heard. Between 2000-3000 rpm it is this really low rumble. I can't tell the difference between it and my system some times. It stays low through gentle acceleration and picks up a hair in more aggressive accel. The sound of my intake seems to take over during high rpm. It is perfect. I can'rt say i feel much of a performance difference. If anything, maybe lost a hair low end at picked it up high end. I am VERY HAPPY with it.

Anyways, let me know what you think and feel free to ask any questions Here is the link

rhyno what did you use to get up under the car to install your exhaust? my dad has a dual track storage lift in his garage, think that would work to install mine?

rhyno, that is one bad looking coupe! The hood looks awesome! Oh yeah, for everyone going to install an exhaust, put some antiseize compound on the threads when installing the exhaust. The nuts will come right off when and if you choose to remove it.

Rhyno, car looks sweet!!! Love the headlights...

Is it just me or do the cf hood manufacturers not make the trim piece that goes in front? I have noticed several people putting their stock trim piece on their cf hood. Is it because you guys with the hoods wanted that, or is it because the hood didn't come with it. I'm just curious....

Most of the carbon fibe hoods come with a dip in the front for that trim piece. There are only one or two brands that i have seen that already come with something there. I didn't know this one didn't have anything there til after i got it.

My damage was all front end. It was 4300 in damage and my air bag didn't even deploy. Crumple zone really bites

yeah, thats about right. Removing from the cat was a pain. that was the vast majority of the time. I had also heard that people were having fitment problems and having to bend the hagers. mine fit perfectly. it would seem that, even if it was off a little, it would be possible to manipulate it by playing with the rubber hangers position.
