Car in the shop since thursday
Car in the shop since thursday
Took it in thursday to have the transmission serviced because my gear shifter was popping out of second every now and then. They ordered the parts last monday and were supposed to replace 1st, 2nd and 5th gears and it was supposed to be done last thursday. Here I am today with no civic and they say the transmission casing hasnt come in yet, they gave me an *** ugly corolla rental and im just pissed about the whole thing. Seems like they should have never taken the transmission apart if they didnt have all the parts to finish the job
that really sucks.
i hate it when you have to wait forever to get your car back, especially if they said it'd be done a certian day. and i HATE when they give you a loner that's a POS. I spent 8 weeks of my summer driving a mercury tracer that was metallic seafoam green, scraped up, and absolutely filthy, inside and out (i actually had to clean the car before i drove it anywhere but home... it was just ).
anyways i'd say beat the he11 outta that corola, esp if it's already beaten to death... and might as well do distance driving (if you have to) on a loaner... put the miles on a POS not your civic.
hope you get your car back soon and hope it's all good after that.

i had to do that also . i had the car for 2 weeks and it was sitting back in the dealership.
avenger is right beat the little toyota to death.
i remember a thread that was here a couple months ago where a guy rented a neon and put a nitrous express kit on it and beat the hell out of it. i recommend you do the same!

Keep track of all of the days you are without your car and how many repairs are made. If you are without a car for 30 days total(that includes trips in for other problems) or have the same problem repaired four or more times within 18000 miles you can file for LEMON LAW. They will then have to buy the car back or give you a new one, which at that point you probably won't even want!!! Don't let the fu¢kers fu¢k you!
Let me get this straight. You took your Honda Civic into the Honda dealership to get it fixed and in return the Honda shop gives you a car from the closest competitor? No that's some F%#$ Up Sheeit there. I feel for you man, sorry about your bad luck, if I were you I wouldn't push them much if you are pushing the 30 days for the lemon law. I'd even try to jack the UPS man so they have to order another part
Sux man! Some fool door dinged my car at the mall parking lot.....my luck it was an excursion that tore up my passenger door and cost me $370 to fix. Drove a sebring convertible as a loaner, cool at first, but the it sukd gas like it was pouring out the tank. Always park far far away from idiots in SUV's
