Sedan => Coupe Rear End Conversion...
I hate the tail lights on the sedan. In my option they are so freakin ugly
I probably won't do this, but it's always good to know...how would you do a rear end conversion from sedan to the coupe? New bumper, tails, rear side pannels, possibly trunk.....what is involved behind the tail light intself (mounting points). This is sure going to cost a lot of money if I do it (most likley won't be worth it).
What do you guys think of the sedan tai lights?

imo the sedans @ss end looks way better than the coupe!!! the taillights on the sedan are str8. why would you want to do that? if i had a coupe, i would be wishin i had thw sedan rear end!

You would probably have to bondo your trunk where the second part of your light is and have it sanded and painted. The coupe's taillights sit lower than the sedans but you might just be able to cut out a little on the sides to accomidate the side part of the light and bondo and paint around it. U will have to take measurements. The coupes lights might be taller and u will have to cut some more out of the rear. If you bondoed the trunk it would have to be made to fit around the coupe lights.
okay, here's the photoshopped pics...

deng dats some tight photoshop skills u got there buddy............
i like da civic either way.... but in my opinion, yeh da sedan will be a lil bit better wid da coupe's tails and even though u dont swap, still looks good stock. i would like da coupes end on da sedan wid da chrome molding on da license plate.
JMFO........... Just My Fu.Cking Opinion........... HAHAHAHHAHA

I like the sedan tail lights, sort of, because if you just cover the trunk lid lights with color matching adhesive and leave a 4 inch red circle, it would start to look like a IS300 rear end. I have been asked by some
people that didn't know that my car was a civic, if that was a IS300. I'm planning on trying it out this spring but it constantly is raining in washington. When I do get it done, I'll download some pics for you guys to look at.
