Anyone driven an Elise?

How was it? I hear it's basically useless in the rain. Is that true?

Depends on the tire choice. Its mid engine, rear wheel drive. So there is a decent amount of pressure on the rear tires. If you have the Yokohama Advan A048 tires then yeah its useless in the rain. If you have tires with a rain groove in it then just drive very slow in the rain with it.

dry

and i found this ad that i just love

top gear - the stig in the rain

just as fast as a ferrari 575 in the wet. doesnt seem useless to me.

No worries, National tour events run a bit differently then local events... And autocrosses are run, Rain or shine unlike those pansys in Nascar...

basically the format is your Best time from day 1 is added to your best time from Day 2 to give you your Final time. the person with the best final time wins. (Class by class that is)
