NITROUS Problem..

I just recently got a Venom nitrous kit. It's sweet...80 shots of pure power. However...i'm now really scared of killing my stock motor. What do i need to change. I mean i have the safest nitrous kit on the market but do i really need something as ridiculous as titanium pistons or whatever that guy was telling me... I need help. I dont' wanna end up broken down with my hazards on while my car is stopped on the side of the freeway. So I need some nos experts to give me some feedback.

first off...80 shot is too much! and yes 'Forged pistons' would be a good idea, maybe it was titanium valves that he was tryin to sell ya, those are good too. But cut it back to 50 shot max!! Otherwise you might be on the side of the road.

NGK BKR7E plugs, MSD window switch, upgraded ignigition/coil/wires, upgraded fuel system, timing retard and dyno tuning. or, you could just use a 50 shot and the colder plugs.

You'd most likely need to upgrade your fuel pump. Nothing fancy. Just get like a mitsu. eclipse GSX or GST fuel pump. Aftermarket clutch doesn't hurt either. Colder spark plugs are a plus. NGK spark plugs model # BKR7E's should do the trick. Also, I THINKnitrous likes retarded timing. but I'm not sure how to do that with our cars 'cause our cars use ignition coil packs instead of a distributor. This is how to keep it safe in the cheapest way with the shot that you want to run. If anyone feels otherwise, feel free to correct me.

with a 4 cydr. engine and no mods... anything past a 50 shot could shoot your pistons through your hood. Even if it is the safest NOS system out there. Be very careful.
