Is this true?
Last week, me and my friend had a race. He was bragging about his new mods. He had an intake (AEM CAI), headers (DC SPORTS) and an exhaust (SPOON SPORTS). He also had a carbon fiber hood which of course, lessened the weight of his car. My car is bonestock without any mods in it. Then he asked me if I wanted to race him. Turns out, I smoked him bad with three cars as I finished the quarter-mile. I couldn’t believe what happened and we tried it again and again but the same results came out. And I know for a fact that he is an experienced driver like me. Can this be true that his mods made his car slower?
i didn't know that spoon sports made exhust systems for our cars as far as i know they don't even have the coupe version in japan. the questions i have to ask are did he have a coupe or a sedan and did you both have the five speed or did one of you have an auto and if he had 2.25 piping while you had the stock piping get back to me with those answers and i'll probably be able to tell you why
what kind of car did he have. it doesn't say. the reason i ask is because, lets say he started off with a geo metro, even after a bunch of mods it still wouldn't put him up to where 2k1's are stock. i'm pretty sure he didn't have a metro that was just an example. if he also has a 2k1 then streetfxracer is right.
