Opps!! Maybe I'm in the wrong place

Well from what I have already read I think that maybe a "Old Fart" when it comes to talking about the Civic 7th gen.

I'm 35 and from what I can see on this site is that most people want to upgrade the performace........

I have no probelem with this, back in my day (17 to 19 years old),,..........(double comma) early to mid 80's I had a Olds 1971 W-30 442
man this thing came stock with a 455cui Performance motor with a Hurst Dual Gate shifter matched with a GM Turbo 400 transmission, CRAP!!! all this thing would do was smoke tires..................mmmmmmmmmmthe smell of rubberrrrrrrrrr, but yah, no great 1/4 mile.....prue show...I had owned many cars since.......mostly GM's with V-8's.........then the late 90's came around. Mostly a bluruyyyrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr okay moving on..........just ignore that last paragraph.

I now have a 02 Civic EX Coupe, pure black in and out, 5 - speed, I bought it in Nov 01 around Thanksgiving. Just now hit 4000 miles and I'll have to say what a sweet riding car. The only thing I guess I'd bitch about is well...................nothing the car has been Awesome!!!

I have seen some Civics like mine at the Dealer that have the small ground effects with the nice wheels,( but no Rear spoilers), that looked bad ***, can you get the effects from the dealer or are those after market???? (sorry but I don't like the rear spoiler, way to high)

Anyway thanks for letting me join your forum, looking forward to some responces.

if you wanted a lower spoiler, the sedan spoiler should fit on the coupe, thats another thing to get from handa-accessoies.com if you want it. btw, the oem body kit costs 717.60 + shipping there, and its an easy install to do yourself

I'm with you on the spoiler thing. I'm going to lower mine and get a kit and rims in due time....it looks so good without the spoiler....low and clean.....
