what the crap
does anybody else when they stop the maintaince reguired light flash on for a second?Then it goes off.

u mean you're driving and at a stop the maintenance light comes on and turns off briefly?

Are you near 8,000 mi......If it flashes for a while when you start your car,,,,,its cause its leting you know maitenence time is coming up

yeah, read your manual! hehe. its normal dude. it will flash at 8k miles after the car is started for a few seconds. it will turn on at 10k miles and stay on until it is reset.
