Bike vs car

I am in a predictament, I am getting ready to sell the civic and upgrade. Now the question is, do I get a 03 Nissan 350z really good deal I found(pretty much just waiting for me to sell my civic loan is already approved) or a bike GSXR 750 is what I want to get. Otherwise a Ninja 600, GSXR 600, or an R6 newer bikes none of the carb. ones. Also I don't want people to think I only want a bike because my friends have one I have wanted a bike for years now I have just now been able to afford one since I am all done with college and everything.

Car
pros:
Really nice car don't see a whole lot of them around my area that are modded at least
Fast car RWD would be lots of fun to drive
Good deal on this car would probley be hard to find a deal like this again
Safer then a bike
Cheap insurance especially on this type of car

Cons:
All my friends have bikes now and I don't really get to hang out with them anymore since they are always riding now and days
I am in Nebraska and the car is in Kentucky (not to bad but still is a nice little drive I would have to take)
I could afford it just fine but a bike would leave me in a better place financially

Bike
PROS: fast and fun to ride
way cheaper then the car
could buy a bike that is a good deal here in town without a problem
would be sitting better finacially with the bike rather then the car
Would be able to hang out with my friends a lot more and go riding with them
Better gas mileage

CONS:
More dangerous
will suck for the first month or so since it has been awhile since I have ridden one
still have to buy a helmet and jacket mainly just helmet since it is summer still

That is all I can think of so give me or opinions please so I can decide what to do. Thank you

personally i'd get the bike for the reasons you already stated. you can use all that extra money for mods but insurance might be a bit expensive tho. also, you might wanna get more than just a helmet for gear, even though it is summertime.

i've never really been a fan of the Z either so keep your civic and get a bike. my $.02

I say get the bike pay that off rock the civic for a lil while and get a car next year when they revise the new SI or replacement for the RSX. Maybe you could even cop an Evo 10 whenever thats out. I just got a 2005 GSXR 750 and man you WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED. Don't want to be biased though. Good luck w/e u decide to do.

I will get more gear just I could probley hold off on the jacket for a month or so. But gloves and helmet for sure. I took the bike class so I don't think insurance will be a problem plus I just turned 21 also.

Yeah thats why I think the bike will be a better choice, because it is way cheaper and sell my civic (have a beater car already) I will already be paying off 2 credit cards if I sell it for what I want.

I have another civic Im gonna be "rocking" just a nice little beater. But as of right now Im sticking with the z whenever I get a new car whether it be now or in a year. Yeah I want the Gsxr 750 because I don't see the 750 around my area a lot plus its a little better then the 600 cc but not as good as the 1000 cc pretty much right in the middle

or you can spend all that $$$ on medical bills, which will inevitably come. Most people I have known that ride on the streets get in an accident, which are most of the time fatal or VERY serious. Bike = not worth it.

When i get back home from iraq, i'm getting either a S2000 or a Ducati 999s. Trying to keep my family (civic, 01 F4i, 05 Zx6r) growing.

350 all the way.....this is the new 300zx that was my dream car. Ive driven one and i must say i was impressed....also, i think everyones forgetting, hes either got to sell the vic and get either a bike or a 350z, theres no keeping the vic and getting the bike so that really isnt an option.

I learned recently that the Z shares its platform, engine and transmission with the infiniti fx35, with the g35 sedan and the murano. It's nowhere close to a pure sports car in the real sense of the word.

I'd get a bike any day of the week over a car.... Unless it's really more fun than riding a bike, which I doubt.

I've already made my decision that I am getting a bike for sure. All that is left is to sell my civic. Yeah that atom is awesome but it is over seas not here as far as I know.

the bike will be pretty much useless when it rains/gets cold or if you need to carry stuff.

you planning on taking the bus to do groceries or going to home depot?

GSX-R750 ('04) HP 127.3 @ 12,750

ZX-6R ('05) * HP 113.8 @ 13,250

* (05 is the highest HP rating of any of the years of the ninja and it still doesnt compare to the 750)

it doesnt have the power of the 750 but yea it does handle pretty good
