I'm going to get rid of my 05 Civic Si. The wife mainly drives it cause I can't stand it. It's a good car but just not for me. She likes the RX-8, but I've been reading some info around the net that it's quite the POS. Are they good cars or what? What car should I actually go after? These are the choices I can think of. I have kiddies so space is an issue.I'm a domestic guy but I don't mind the imports but want something with grunt. No Nissan or Infinity **** either.

06 Mazda RX-8 GT M
06 Mazda 6 maybe the Mazdaspeed 6 but none around here

space and looks wise, I would pick the Mazda..... I read that they had front brake issues, dont know if thats cleared up.

I'm trying to stay away from a 4 door. Plus we don't have a Subaru dealer here and I don't want to travel for service.
