s2000 Fourms??
What other fourms are there for s2000's, cuz I wanna read about stuff people have done and are doin to them, also what kinda #'s they get stock and with mods... Thxx
a stock s2000 produces around 200whp. you really dont get any big numbers from basic bolt ons either. a single exhaust, header, and test pipe will probably only get you around 15-20 whp. the forced induction preference for s2k owners is usually going to be a supercharger. thought that might help.

Yes it did thx. My friend said the same thing about his s2000 when he put i/h/e/test pipe he dident really get any more power. Now what about the superchargers what are some good ones? also what kinda power can the motor handle stock? here something about the rearend has had some problems. also here that u cant get deep dish rims for them. and last thats the best year 2003 or ^?
yeah, the best year in my opinion is the 03. i've been trying to get my parents to help me out with one for the past 2 months haha. it's the last year they stopped making the ap1 (00-03) that uses the f20c motor and rev's to 9000rpm. the ap2 (04-06) uses the f22c and rev's to 8000rpm, but has a slightly more torque and is more streetable than the ap1 (or so i've heard.)
as far as forced induction goes, if i had an s2000 and the cash what i'd do is go with a competech supercharger w/ aftercooler. turbo's have the potential to make big power, but s2000's dont have that much low end torque so a supercharger makes up for that. most of the numbers i've seen from sc'ed s2k's are around 325whp. i'm not quite sure how much hp the motor can handle, but i'd say a pretty good bit though. the f20c is a great motor. i havent heard anything about the rearend having problems though.

i thought it was the 06's that came with the drive-by-wire throttle system? i don't think they had it before 2006. i might be wrong, so if anyone wants to correct me, please go ahead and do so.

Yeah ur right I typed it wrong... But what exacly is drive by wire? Also I cant find any sites that sell s2000 parts, I wanna see how much suspention and stuff is for these cars. Cuz I only have like sites for civics cuz thats what I have 4 now.. I found 02-03 s2000's between $20,000 and $24,900 all between 30-40k miles that good price?? One 2003 with 8,500 miles for $24,500..

i think that's a pretty good price, for the mileage it has. i've been visiting s2ki.com more than i have 7thgen cuz i'm REALLY interested in buying an s2k myself. for me it's gona be either a 03, 04, or 05. 03 for the 9k redline, and 04 or 05 cuz i just like the body styling a bit better.
all i have to say is, parts for the s2k will cost significantly more than parts for a civic. look around on s2ki.com, guys on there are pretty nice for the most part, cuz i think most of them are of an older age group. but make sure you use the "search" or else you might get flamed on if it's something people OFTEN ask or whatever.
i suggest you get 03+ s2k's. people say 03's are the best if you want the f20c.

^^ they only started it on the 2006 so it wouldn't really matter on the 04-05 ap2's. so you can't really single it out as the ap1's being the only ones with better launching capabilities.
sorry let me clarify. when i say diff in body style, i mean the front and back bumpers. i also like the rims on the 04+'s better than the ones on the older s2k's. the suspension is supposedly more daily driver friendly in the 04+'s as well.
