2006 civic sedan...ANYONE???
I'm sorry if this has been posted or not. I have searched it and found nothing, and I don't have the patience to look harder because I think my '01 coupe is totalled. ANYWAY... Does the 2006 EX sedan have the exact same engine as the 7th gen EX engine??? Are there any differences?

How does it differ from the d17? Can you mod more easily, or do we have the same issue because its an SOHC?
when I say more easily, I mean do we get better results or is it minimal like the d17? (the d17 EX motor supposedly has 130 right?)

my bad...you either know the answer and are being a bit of a jerk, or you don't and you being a bit of a jerk. I have a 7th gen now, but some a**hole hit me from behind going 40mph in a Ford F250...needless to say my black beauty is crunched. I was just asking a simple question, and really, it was directed to gearbox...so thanks for your suggestion but I think you should be a bit more courteous.

ya we dont know as much here. all i know is just go look under the hood and you'll realize the problems. it goes from the head directly to the cat and piping. no actual header piece.
