The new 2002 si!!
I am trading my 2k1 for the si next month. Did you know it is not a 2002 it is classified a 2003. That is what my dealership told me. They said they will call me as soon as they see the truck roll in. I will have the first one in my town.

that shifter really makes the hatch a different car... but other wise, I'll recommend a base rsx. course there's also the other aspect... like would u rather drive top of line civic or base rsx?
still. base rsx faster. handling should be the same, it probably looks better to most people...
me. I think I'll grab a base rsx though. but its a hard choice. heh.
poeple will be bashing on me for owning the 02 (or 03?) Si anyway. no one will bash you for having an rsx.
you know what. get something better. heh. look elsewhere than Honda. heh.
other good lil sports compact would be the SE-R Spec V... VW GTI 1.8T (now 180hp!)... and the new SVT Focus.
motor trend did a comparison with those three cars and the new Si... guess what came out on top? The Focus. heh. course there's other factors to consider... its reliability..
in either case, those that are shopping for new cars in these segments should test drive all the different cars thats within their price range.. I think you'll be doing yourself a disservice if you dont take a look at any of those cars just cuz they're not a Honda.

IMPORTSPD, that picture Oishi has on his signature is that of Kristin Kreuk. You can catch her on the series Smallville (yep, Clark Kent is in it). She plays Lana Lang. DAMN, is she hot...
And back on TOPIC... Would the car you be talking about happen to be the Civic Si-Veloz? It's now on the http://www.honda.ca site.
I almost got the SE-R Spec V but they were out of stock and Nissan said that there was a huge waiting list. Anyway, I think it's ugly now but damn, there's some good stuff with it.

I'm getting the Civic Si-Veloz just to clarify things... I also just learned Kristin Kreuk is half Asian... Damn, never did realize it before but now I can totally see. Especially from pics from her CBC show Edgemont. Damn is she hot...

Oh well let people bash me. But when we get at the light i'll bash them. I am going to get the silver one. I like the shifter it is a racing style shifter. And the dealership told it could handle a 100 shot of juice. yall say you don't like them now but wait after you see mine yall will want one!!!!!!

<< The new SI looks like a GEO Metro on steroids...plus it doesn't have any guts..save your cash and find a 99 or 00 SI.. >>
or a mercedes benz c230 kompressor sports coupe
Hey Civicpride: seriously do not be discouraged by biased people such as Neo. He tends to think his Si is king of everything. Sorry Neo I don't want flame you but you tend to be a little cocky about your Si.
Go ahead and get the car because you want to. As with mods, do what you want to do.

ummm .. how many horse power is the 2003 si??? sounds like some of the guys are making it sound like its realllly fast. but i was just wondering is it fast as the wrx, rx-8, 2003 supra, or even the 2003 nissan Z? just curious

No definitely not. Maybe it has something to do with it's price?
I do not see any similarities between the Geo Metro and the Civic Si. Of course, what comes to mind for me is the Canadian Si. Ours is not a hatchback. It's a coupe. We'll be getting the SiR here soon I believe, which is the hatchback. Confusing? Yeah... They should follow the same naming world-wide I think. I'm trying to separate the Canadians from Americans because if I don't, it just gets confusing.
Our Si has the same body as all the other coupes. So, in a way I agree and disagree. So, about the RSX looking more like a Civic than the Si, I agree if the Si you're talking about is the hatchback.

yea player1, we have JDM style naming here in Canada. so their EX is our Si, their Si, is our SiR. When people talk about the new Si, just make the assumption it's the SiR. lol no one care's about the ole EX.
