Big Vibration at 1St

Heres the situation: Im on a slightly uphill road, wet, and the car in front stops to make a turn. After putting the car in 1st, then taking my foot completely off the clutch, i give a little gas at first then hit the pedel not to the floor but harder then normal. the car starts to vibrate very hard with a loud gung gung noise. I was expecting the wheels to spin on the wet pavement, but i obviously did not?

What is the problem here? Was the clutch not grabbing or what?

Are you talking about how the car acts when you pull out and nearly stall?
I am guessing no since it happened after you gave it some gas.

In that case I have no idea.

You might not have had it fully in first. That happened to me once and it was all jerky and i didn't even go anywhere and I'm pretty sure it's because i pulled it half way out of first or something. Never happened again after that.

nope, just drive it normally for a few hundred miles, and it should go away. typically happens when you drive your car hard a lot.
