Wasted $7,000 on a Highlander.
I was really saving that up to get some major stuff done to my Civic, like a supercharger in the future which may or may not come out. But the old POS Caravan died on us and required a replacement, so I took that out and used it as down pmt. on a Toyota Highlander. Not a bad car, but now my Civic has to remain nearly stock for another long a$$ time.
Maybe I'll put some 20s on there.

Yeah that sucks man. I've recently had to make a sacrifice and sell my SI rims off my 2K1 to get my hybrid project started. I'll be rolling on stock hubs for a while until I have enough saved for new rims. It will be worth it in the long run though.
You made a good choice bro. I sell Toyota's for a living, and the Highlander is just plush as can be. Reeeeeeeeeaaaaaal smooth riding SUV, and in the V-6 it has great power. (220hp for V6/155hp for 4cyl.) Even comes standard with anti-lock brakes, front strut tower bar, available vehicle skid control and traction control, and excellent handling as it is. They're so nice to drive cause they feel like driving a car. Actually, the highlander is a unibody construction built on the same chassis as the Camry and the Sienna van. The nice thing is that it's wide and short, so it is much less top-heavy than anything in it's class. For you that means alot less tipping sensation when cornering and going around curves, and a much more stable footprint on the road. I know you'll enjoy that thing for years to come, and only have to change the oil (at the most) every 5000 miles.

Wow 2Hondaz, you really do know the car. I was driving my Civic afterwards, and had to constantly acceletate up to 4000 rpm just to get to the speed I was at in the Highlander with baby gas peddle pressure. It's surprisingly powerful and smooth.
