Ive been search around trying to find the formula to figure out if my cars wieght is 2516lbs and i have 300 hp at the wheels. How much Hp do i have per lbs of my car? There is a formula i just cant find it right now. Ive been to ask.com, googled it.

.15hp/lb would be the power/weight ratio for 2000lb car w/300hp.

You divide the power by the weight.

Nah man you got it backwards.

Weight divided by HP gives HP LBS of weight per HP.

EX: 2000 LB Car @ 300 HP = 2000/300 = 6.67 lbs per HP

Essentially, every 6.67 lbs you remove from the car will yield 1 more HP at the crank, give or take.

that would be weight to power ratio.

lb/hp=weight to power ratio
hp/lb=power to weight ratio

He said hp to weight so I thought he wanted hp/lb (power to weight) not lb/hp (weight to power). I hope this isn't confusing people

well 2000 would be after some.. But right now no.. thats with the swap and everything lol. but i took it and had wighed at a scrap yard.

get the weight down as much as you can and you'll be killing some nice cars. the Ariel Atom has an engine set up like yours, but it weighs just <1100lbs and is MR.
