i was at my friends place, and we were comparing cars, he has a 99 grand am gt, i have a 2k2 ex. well when we got to comparing speakers, he got in my car, put a cd in, and turned it up, about 5 squares on the display. he noticed right away that my speakers sounded way better than his, he was really impressed with the bass. so he opened the trunk to see the speakers from underneath. he noticed that they said pioneer on them, so he thought that they were aftermarket. i told him they weren't, so we decided to to try and take them out, but we couldn't, we dont know jack. so i left them and came here to ask if anyone has taken out the speakers on there ex civic, and if they are all indeed pioneer brand? and also, if they are paper woofers, or if they are like most new aftermarket speakers, like with the rubber, poly-whatever speakers?

this should be under ICE but.....

they're paper cones, theyre nice for oems and they're pretty efficient but the still suck [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/IMG]

ya they are pioneers but they are cheap pioneers. made of paper and could only handle 20wrms i believe
