Guy pulling his trailer was spewing rocks all over the place today, and my poor civic got stuck behind him. Before I knew what was going on, it was too late. Anyone know if a Carbon Fiber hood would get "resin chips) or whatever. Basically would this happen to a Carbon Fiber hood?

My CF hood is pretty hard. The gel coat on it is much more impervious to rocks that paint on sheet metal is.

Some people suck!! Thats what happened to me - some 'billy in a jacked up truck on the interstate just drive over the line and onto the shoulder ---- nothing but rocks everywhere!!

One time a truck threw up some rocks at my dads new Toyota pick-up and cracked the windshield. Didn't have mud flaps or anything. Got him to pull over, took insurance info and turned it in on him. Just have to convince the Insurance guys that it was their fault.
