? about cleared headlights...

I cleared my headlights this weekend. I've been trying to find a single filament AMBER bulb for the turn signal (#7440). The few auto stores I went to said they don't make it, and that it only comes in white, but I'm not sure they know what they're talking about. Does anyone have this, or know where to find it? Also, what bulbs colors and types are you guys who cleared your headlights using?

Thx!!

I've got the white ones in single filament, cause it's better than nothing. The original bulb is a dual filament (#7443), but if I get an amber bulb, I only want it on when I have my turn signal on.

I have been having one hell of a time finding them as well. The places I did find them want like $10 US, and thats fine but then what another $15 US to have them shipped. Now to me that's nuts. I know they have to make it across the border and all, but that handling fee is just not right. I wish I could get them another way, or find a dealer here in Canada.

You can't find them in the stores. YOu will have to order them. You really don't need an amber bulb, but an amber reflector. Since there is a white reflector under the orange piece it looks orange when light shines on it. YOu can have a white turning bulb, but the cops will get you for not having an orange reflector. You can buy little stick on ones if you are worried. I have hyperwhite headlights and parking and kept the turning stock so that it is different.
