repost and NO MORE HONDA ENGINES IN THE ATOM.
I just got an email from Atom a few weeks ago: They had 9 honda engines at the time of mailing.
So by now probably no more.
From now on it looks like you can get up to 300hp from a GM engine.
Honestly, as crappy as GM cars are, a tuned ecotec (or however its spelled) is a decent engine, and should last for a long time if taken care of.
As long as it doesnt have GM a/c, interior, etc. then you can expect decent quality

yeah bascally they are made by a few guys in a barn... but as they get bigger and more popular I bet they could start getting another person or two and get a bigger place. I am not sure where they are right now.
