Yeah, either something is shorting or something is loose. I guess you can just drive at night by riding the brakes. Go get it checked out.

It's probably a fuse underneath the hood that's blown... either that or something in the wiring.

maybe you messed up the wiring when you installed the LEDs

Sounds to me that your tail lights are only working when you hit the brakes means that only your brake lights are working. The brake lights and tail lights/dash lights are on two different circuits (different fuses). Disconnect all your LED wiring. Tape back up all the wires, then check the 15 amp fuse in location #2 in the fuse box under the hood. Hopefully, all you did was short out the wires and blew the fuse.

Retrace the wires on that circuit and make sure none of them are pinched. It's a pain in the a$$ but most likely that's what the prob is. The same thing happened to my friend's GSR and it was really easy to fix, but took two hours to figure out it was a pinched wire and then find it.

Usually when your dash lights don't work your tail lights don't work. Maybe honda came out with some neat little way of letting you know. It doesn't sound like its anything with your dash because they would either work or not work. I think the dash flashing when you hit your brakes is a sign of your tail lights not working. Check out your tail lights and let us know. You probaby just shorted the fuse to your tail lights. Where did you tap into 12v for the LED washers?
