Rep Power: 0 not much at all. i was leasing my previous civic so it was basically a wash with that. actually the dealer lost some money taking it back because they said it would be one price an then turned around and tried to screw me out of 45 extra a month when it came down to signing the papers but i had no part of it. they came out 10 cheaper then what i agreed to..

the response is much better, the car feels much more peppy. i dont know if the 5 speed is much lighter then the auto but it feels a bit more nimble also.

Rep Power: 0 no doubt that it'll be quicker, not just because of the simple fact that its a manual but also cuz the 5-speed coupe weighs 40 lbs less than the auto...
more importantly, hows the handling? notice any difference in steering feel, stability, the rear end float... etc?

Rep Power: 0 the handling does seem a little better, i have only put 20 miles on it so far so i really havn't tested what it can do yet. i noticed i seem to drive a bit faster now though.

Rep Power: 0 I rather have a auto anyway because I don't have my car to race it,, so really there's no need for me to have a stick, i'm just going for a bling bling look

sometimes having a stick is part of the bling bling inside
i know that whenever i see a nice car but look inside and find out its an auto i go
but thats a whole other topic and thread that has been thoroughly discussed already...

Rep Power: 0 just because it's automatic dosnt mean it cant be fast. What if he had a blower under the hood?
Or you pulled up to that Supra Twin Turbo auto on the street and glanced the wrong look? The autos were faster than the sticks.

Rep Power: 0 i began leasing it in june and was planning on leasing it for 15000 mi per yer. after seven months i had 17000 so i was seeing what my buyout was (14665.97). By purchasing a new civic under the low interest rates they have now it was actually only 10 bucks more per month to buy a new one. Yes you can turn your lease in at any time but you dont get a penny, plus you might get charged an early termination fee (i didnt).

Rep Power: 0 Hey Civichx01, some cars were not meant to be manual. While our type of cars are much better with manual, big luxury sedans aren't. So don't diss the auto in a general way.
