i think this idea was mention once way back but i think you have to swap the whole center console or something.
it sure does look nice though
i'm hoping to find a 2k2 in a junkyard sometime and get the new gauges

I just took my 2k2 apart to put in my stereo, and the cupholder is attached to the whole center console. Honda Automotive Parts They sell every little nut and bolt for our cars. They have the books online that you can view each part for our cars. They don't have the 2k2 books online yet, but you can call them and ask them about it. The center console for the 2k1 is $38, you just use all of your screws etc.. from your 2k1. Hope this helps and makes some sense

Did you look at the pictures? I haven't personally tried it because I already have a 2k2 but it appears that everything is the same. I hardly see them totally redisgning the internals of the console to add a cover to the cupholders. Besides, a junkyard will probably charge you more than the $38 and at least this way you get a new one without any scratches(or blood.. hehe). FYI that site is also good if you are looking to replace any small part for you car. Not aftermarket stuff, but if you loose a weird sized screw or break a piece of plastic somewhere.

Yah, it just pops up. You push it in and then it swings up. Push it down and then it locks into place. Looks real nice and symetric when its closed.

I don't think the tweeter by the mirror is a 2k2 thing, I think it just an EX thing. I bought it about a year ago, I paid right at $1,200 for the head unit and brain. Since they came out with a new model you can usually get it cheaper. I do not have GPS (yet) I would like to get it, but for the extra $1,000 that it costs I'm holding off for a little while.

They sound okay, nothing to brag about. Is it $100 for the housing and factory tweeters or for the housing and aftermarket tweeters. I plan on replacing my tweeters, but I like where they are. I found the tweeter at Honda Automotive Parts, but just the tweeter I haven't found the housing yet. Its only $13 for the tweeter, so my guess is that they aren't that great

I'm kinda jealous ever since the 2k2 came out. Oh well, maybe some day I'll sell my 2k1 and upgrade to the last model year of the 7th gen civic? That would be pretty funny if I did that.
