TURBO auto 411???

if you get a turbo for an automatic tran. will it make the swoosh noise when you change gears or only when you let go of the accelerator??? someone please explain... thanks

noob question after another.
YES! you can have a turbo with an auto tranny and NO, you won't get the "swoosh" sound unless you have a blow-off valve
BTW: your "swoosh" sound has nothing to do with gears

acually the swoosh (nike?) sound does have to do with switchin gears ...its louder everytime u hit a high rpm and swtich gears but u can also get that sound when u just pump your acc pedal whiel in the N gear...same thing with an auto...but the stock bov won't make a loud noice u need to get a aftermarket like a hks or a greddy...i have a greddy its very loud....

that's why i said BOV's have nothing to do with gears. you only hear it when you let off the throttle

that swoosh sound from the blow off valve is the result of leftover boost that is being released (to reduce pressure and prevent backspool of the turbo). this happens when you let go of the throttle (just like civicboi said)
