To trade or not to Trade

Well guys i have had my civic for 4 months now and It is really starting to bother me....
The seats are to hard...The mods are to hard to find...And they don't add HP unless its illegal mods....I also see to many old people driving them now.....plus im 6.2 and that is really to tall for this car

Here is my deal...I can trade in my car and get back 1000 bucks and put it towards a 99 prelude auto with all the HP i could ever want! My payment will go up about 34 dollars a month but i will be paying for 5 years....I will probaly be tired of it in a few years so i will not pay it off....

The car has 42000 miles on it...satin silver and i get the honda certified warenty...bumper to bumer 12000 miles and power train up to 100000 miles so the warenty is actually better than mine because my car has over 20000 miles on it! It has new tires new brakes....And the 2.2 vetec power plant will set you back in the seat

PLease tell me what you guys think!

Decamo has a little shameless behaviour in the past
If your looking for power & don't mind a slightly older car then go for the prelude. Even in auto it kicks ***. The prelude is a sports car where the civic is an econobox.

I love my civic but i'd rather have a prelude.

LOL.

Automatic. Im sorry but Ive driven a 97 auto lude and the VTEC dosnt throw you back in the seat anymore than the 01 Civic's does. You want power get a Type SH Lude or Si/GSR/Type R. Their VTEC will throw you back in the seat.

Personally if it doesnt fit you that well why did you buy it in the first place?

When i bought my civic it was an impulse buy.....My car was about to die so i traded it in....And just took what ever....I will never do that again....But i like the seats in the prelude...they are more cofortable and the prelude...(automatic)...is still a pretty fast little ride......but its 18000 dollars....but its a better car than the civic...better stereo...more horsepower....small back seat so no one will hitch a ride...lower....Prelude=better car than i civic i think!

Thanks for all of your advice

If you like the extra power in the lude go for it, even though the auto spoils it a bit. I still think the 97 prelude is one of the best designs ever. That is on the outside. Because the drivin position is totally wrong. At least for me and I'm about 6.0. But the worst thing is that there's this pointy bit in the center console that stabs you in the leg and leaves no room for you right leg to floor it. Very anoying. I had the same problem in the latest Celica. Just to damn tight. That's what I liked so much about the Civics, perfect driving position for me.

Hey man. Just like ricerocket said,, get the Odyssey, it's the most powerful car on the Honda(not including Acura) line-up. It has 240 hp, same as a S2000 but with more torque, and lots of room for all your friends

I personally like the 4th generation Preludes more than the 5th generation, but that's just me. I agree with some of the other folks though...if you are going to get a Prelude for speed, you have to get a manual dude. Auto just doesn't cut it on a sports car. I almost got my hands on a 95 Prelude, but it turned out to be a junker so I didn't get it. If you want the Prelude, then get it, but I would definitely get the manual. just my thoughts.
