POLL: Seatbelts
I think that a poll of how many people do and do not wear their seatbelts is a pretty good idea. Maybe the overwhelming majority of people wil answer yes and convince those who don't that they should? Anyway, thank you SOHCScreamer for your original post.

Hopefully some of the people who don't wear seatbelts will scroll down and get this far.
I used to work in an ER at Froedtert Memorial Hospital. It's one of the top Hospitals in the world. All I can say is seatbelts are so important. Most people dont realize this, but without your seatbelt there is a chance to be ejected from your car. When you are ejected from your vehicle, most of the time the vehicle will end up landing on you. That is a proven fact. And I will tell you now, the people that came in that weren't wearing their seatbelts were worse off than those that did. Not to say that the seatbelt will always save your life.... because some accidents are just too bad. But you have a much better chance of living if you do wear it. Please... wear your seatbelt. No worse feeling in the world than watching a young girl die... because she didn't buckle up. Don't be the same way.

Rep Power: 0 I ALWAYS wear my seatbelt. I feel naked without it on; even in a parking lot. And not having it on (even in a parking lot) makes me VERY nervous. And I make people in my car wear they're seatbelts whether they want to or not. They're not dying on my time or in my car cuz they don't like them or whatever. If they don't want to wear it, then they can get the f*ck out.

Rep Power: 0 I always wear my seat belt in my car....and make everyone in my car wear it too..but when I'm not im my car...I just don't always wear it...like wtf...I don't know why I do it....but I just don't always put it on right away in other ppls car....
