Help Guys!!
I believe I've had a N20 back fire.
All that matters right now I suppose is that when I turn on the car the engine runs. BUT The engine wobbles badly, it sounds fine (no knocking) and turned over on the first crank. I don't see anything leaking under the car. The idle is off it seems, as the car will idle around 1k dip a little, rise a little, dip down pretty far (near stall)then back to about normal. All this time the engine is shaking a lot and running generally rough.
PLEASE HELP GUYS. THIS MEANS A LOT OF BAD THINGS IF MY ENGINE IS SHOT. I've been talking to Steve and from what we've gone through we are thinking either, plugs, valve, or heads. I'm praying that it is plugs and thats all. If it's valves or heads then Joey, I need you NOW. If ANYBODY has ANY thoughts I'm MORE than open. Please help and pray for me.
Thank you,
Josh
Update:
The car is fine guys! I got up this morning and went to look at it, everything looked fine. When I started the engine it ran a little better than it did last night but it was still wobbling. I changed the plugs back to what I had in there before the ZEX ones turned the engine on and got the same wobble. So I decided to go to the auto parts store to get a valve cover gasket but Saturn Corp. hasn't released the gaskets to be reproduced. Well that’s what the guy in the shop said. So I decided to take it into town and leave it at a mechanic's shop.
When I started it up the car was idling funny, as it had been so I eased onto the road and slowly started into town. By the time I had made it to the stop sign that was about 50yds away the car seemed fine. I went on down the road and everything (except an SES light was cool) After about a minute of driving it was perfectly fine. I hit the gas a little to see how it responded and it seemed as if everything was normal. When I got it to the shop the car was idling fine and the engine wasn't wobbling at all. I've been driving around (gently) and no problems so far. I think I'd still better go get it checked out, but dang guys, I must be living right or something.
Thanks againl,
Josh

Remove the plugs and inspect them.....This is your best indicator of the engine condition without tearing it down.....
You might have whacked a intake sensor or something...who knows?
