Some people make their cars look like christmas trees with windshield washer, fog, sidemarkers, LED edxhaust, indiglo pedals, neon, indiglo H's. Too many lights, better get two batteries to support all the lights!!!

Those pedals have been out for quite some time now. And so have the LED / Indiglo step thingie for when you open the door.
I guess its a matter of opinion regarding what rice is. But I think we can, or must of us can agree that the things that make a ricer are those that have absolutely no purpose, use, etc. or are absolutely tacky. You know how its widely accepted that you don't wear white after labor day? Or how its widely accepted that guys don't wear platforms or bell bottoms anymore? Well....I think when it comes to rice you can almost think of it in terms of fashion. Some things are just...out of style...or plain tacky.
But everyone is entitled to their opinions rice? You'll jsut never catch me with indiglo anything on my car, much less those tacky LED washer lights or Altezza's. But its a matter of choice! And I promise not to persecute those that choose to do otherwise. LoL [IMG]i/expressions/laugh2.gif[/IMG]

The word rice is just a stupid term made up by some people using to accuse some other people cars. Till this day I still dont get what rice exactly means and under what circumstances it can be used. This word is totaly meaniless to me and I think its a stupid word.

Rep Power: 0 And I think its rude to call peoples' cars rice. Its just like accusing how a person dresses, or worse, being racist. Its his taste, his choice. Dont call the person some stupid word just because you dont approve how his stuff looks like.

Rep Power: 0 the word rice came from race. it (originally) meant stuff that was done to make a car look fast when it wasnt, but the word is used to mean basically what spdrcrchk said now

im preeeeeetty sure that rice came from way way back in the day when domestics ruled in the US. Import cars came to the US and they got much better gas mileage and people said "what do those things do, run on rice?", explaining "rice burner" and other phrases. I'm pretty sure that's the origin, not that i really care

people buy his/her own car, dress up watever he/she like, at least they got money to spend on it ...... dont just laugh at people becoz of this light and that light maybe u cant effort to buy or u dont want to waste ur money to buy... why dont u all mind ur own business instead of laughing people?? do watever u like to do... and dont care watever they say........
