6th and 7th gen differences?

Bodywise what are the diffs between 6th gen and 7th gen? I need to know if I would be able to put the front end of an 05 on a 00 4 door civic. Will the front clip bolt up and match the doors or will they need to be replaced as well? Why you ask? Because I found 2 diff cars I can get for cheap. The 00 is wrecked in the front and the 05 in the back. Overall the 00 looks easier to fix. I just cant tell from the pics if it will work.

I highly doubt the 6th gen front clip will even line up.
The 6th gen has a different engine, suspension, transmission, bla bla bla from the 7th gen. There is a reason they are different gens: almost everything changed.

Also having a 7th gen w/ 6th gen body parts will look terrible, and vice versa

yeah i mean it wont be a bolt on....anything can made to fit, but just how much money are you prepared to spend its not worth it, get yourself a used hatch like 94....i see them everynow and then 80k original miles unmodded for like 3000 you just have to look. when a car is wrecked, it usually not worth to fix. the airbags interior and what if there was frame damage trust me on this one save you money instead of making a frankestein.

people in my autobody class back a few years ago have been able to do some crazy frony end conversions and rear conversions...if you have tools and materials and know how anything is possible...like one of my homies was the first to do a jdm from end conversion to an integra here in the west coast (did it when the ITR's first came out in 96 and he got parts from japan on his bi yearly trip)

man I've always though of the 2001-2003 front end to be a taller, wider version of the 99-2000 front end... I just thing it looks like the almost the same front end. (I know I'm nuts, but I've though about that a whole lot)
