Now when it comes to modin the evo and sti/ "wrx since someone metioned it bein better and cheaper" i know that sti is harder then the evo.. but witch one can handle more HP?
Wadup
both great looking and the same hp just about. Its a hard @$$ choice you should test drive both before making the decision. you obviously or, whoever, obviously would have the money for either one if they were in this situation so definately test drive them both. its w.e you like out of both cars. you cant say oh this is crap and that has been known to be crap. go off of what you like in each car and then buy the one you like the best. i wouldnt know which one to get if i were in the situation. the only thing i can tell you is to go with what you like and to test drive both of them also look everywhere online to see how many mods are out for each one. hope i helped good luck and let us know your decision.(post pics)

I hate the way the new STi looks but i'll take the old style anyday. The evo is cool and i've seen more 500hp evo's on streetfire than i have STi's but to be honest if i had an STi i probably wouldn't do too much to it since its fast already. The price difference is a big factor for me too. however one must consider the fact that the evo is making power more efficiently with a 2.0 vs 2.5 but the STi just sounds sooooo damned good.

^^ good to know, didnt know that. and of the two. i'd say STI but i hate the way the 06 STI's look, if possible i'd tell you to get an 05 STi. and about what someone said about these two cars being racer-boyish and fanboy ish.. i think it's pretty true. atleast around here it is.

that was with the older sti i think because the older one used a 2.0 L engine and the wrx used a 2.5L engine. The new sti uses the 2.5engine now so its not really save much on modding a wrx to be as fast as a sti unless you have shop and part hook ups.
I say evo because its a little more neutral around the corners and it looks better. The sti tends to overseer a little more.
But you do get more bang for your buck with the sti but it just looks ugly and the interior of the sti is better too.
For me, there is no point in having a 32k car thats fast as hell and i think looks like ****. For 32k you should get a car thats fast and you think looks good.
