Not worth it by any means according to the cycling forums that I hang around. I would pretty much buy anything with a Honda badge/emblem, but I wouldn't touch their moutain bikes. Gripshifts/y-frames are old technologies but I guess Honda is trying to get the average person into the whole Honda mode to get someone into a motorcycle or something.

I believe it is the cheapest Honda vehicle you can buy brand new. Bikes are actually where Honda started, well, bicycles with motors (mopeds) then eventually onto better and bigger things.

Well... Honda does have a team of participants in the Mountain Bike World Championships...

Here's a link to a posting on Honda Worldwide. It seems mountain biking is a motorsport... who knew?

hmmmmm...interesting....well I'd say if you got the papers, sure why not get it....but i've been in Toys R us--->soon to be baby whatever R us, and i've seen some great mountain bikes for much less. I'll only pay over 100 papers for a bike only if it's freestyle.

honda bikes are for speed, or road trips with the goldwing series. i don't think they make mountain bikes.

First time I saw them was at a Wal-Mart... one of my friends wanted me to see a chopper style bike (BICYCLE! NOT MOTORBIKE! I think it was sponsored by OCC or WCC, don't remember) when I first saw the Honda bike. I instantly fell in love and wanted to hug it, but the model cars were more interesting than a bike.
