Skunk2 Lowering Springs Good Or Bad??
Im looking to order some loweing springs tonight along with a carbon fiber hood. Is Skunk2 a good company to go with for springs? Here is the link to the site http://www.robearracing.com/pd_skunk...ings_civic.cfm
Also if any one knows a good place to get a Seibon cf hood it would be great. Thxx

I have Skunk2 springs on my EP3. I have nothing bad to say about them. The drop looks pretty good, however I wish it was a tad bit lower. I will try and get some pics up. There is a stock EP3 in my friends development and you can definetly see a big difference with the 2 sitting side by side, it probably dropped it about 2 inches ( i should have measured before and after). You may want to hold off and the cf hood and just order new shocks along with the springs cause you will eventually need them. I guess the only way to go lower is with coil overs, I may get some when I have to replace my shocks cause I think I want it lower, it all depends what it looks like after I put some new wheels on it in the spring.

Yeah well see I was gunna get these http://www.robearracing.com/pd_megan...e_coilover.cfm its everything for $899.. But I really want a cf hood. Im just tryin to save $.. And I might just get the $899 cuz I want it lower then 2" and Ill need to get the camber kit also..
Money is definetly a bitch. I forgot about that 2, I did get the camber kit for mine. If your shocks are in good shape now just forget about them till u need them later and go for the cf hood. Im gonna work on trying to post a couple pics of my car so you can see what the end result will look like.
Here is a pic of mine, it is not the best but will have to do. That coilover setup did look pretty sweet, if you got the money go for it. I feel like and idiot cause i dont know how to put pics in thread but just click on the link and you should be able to see it.

Yeah what size rims you got? I have 17s so idk.. I think Ill order the full set up for $899. Where can I get a Seibon cf hood? And witch one is the best looking one.. I think OEM or the Evo
Those are the stock 15s. I only wanna move up to 16s I hope it looks even better with the 16s I am not sure what the outcome is gonna be. Probably when it comes time for new shocks I will just buy a whole kit like you may get. As for the hood I like OEM.

i did springs and now i'm looking for coilovers!
The coilovers are definetly better, the only reason I went with springs is cause I could not stand the off road, jacked up look on it and the springs were actually pretty cheap and I didnt have money at the time for the coilovers. The car definetly looks better though riding on the Skunk2s rather than the stock springs.

Check out ebay its were I got mine from, it was pretty cheap I forget what brand it is but frankly for something u cant see I dont care about the name as long as it does the job and it does. Mine took the 2 camber bolts for the front and the adjustable upper contol arms for the rear. All together it was like 90 bucks. What I got looks just like the SPC kit, I dont know if it is though or not.
