i'll try and bend em so they shine down. lets see tonight if they're better.
also i started working on the hood light kit. spent $40 on parts so the price is gonna be kinda high like $50 shipped maybe. I found a good bulb holder to put on and then wire it to an LED switch that also mounts to the hood and then two wires connected to + and - for power. I think its gonna turn out good. the bulb is out in the open unfortunately but I couldn't really find a cover to put over it.

it mounts in the middle of the hood towards the latch, so when you open it you can just flip the switch and have light instead of always using a flashlight. i have everything worked out except the bulb cover. i need something like a small 1/2 circle that would fit over a 194 bulb.

i don't like the hood pins. something happened with mine and it got stuck in the on position and finally I just ripped it out. With an on/off switch it will work whenever, and there's no risk of it failing (well alot less). Maybe they changed since then but who knows. And i'm going for ease of install. the switch just pushes into the hood. all you do is connect two wires.

hood light is done. its a little tricky to install but if anyone is interested in buying a parts kit, I can talk you through what to do.
