IMO that's stupid. it's his wreckless driving that got him killed, so they're going to "honor" him with more wreckless stupidity? granted we all do some stupid things at times, but this is just retarded.

that reminds me of an accident we had locally here. This 16 year old was drunk, had 2 friends in the car, and he swerved into the oncoming lane, hitting another car with a husband and wife in it, and he killed the occupants of BOTH cars. how did his friends "honor" him? by leaving beer bottles and beer cans at the scene of the accident. how f*cking stupid. this is the same kind of bullsh*t here.

if he wasn't driving recklessly then how did he crash? what, did his car just magically become possesed and take over and run off the road? no, he was speeding recklessly, driving beyond the abilities of himself and/or his car.

reck·less Pronunciation (rkls)
adj.
1.
a. Heedless or careless.
b. Headstrong; rash.
2. Indifferent to or disregardful of consequences: a reckless driver.

sounds like he was speeding/driving recklessly to me.

We actually did something similar to that when one of my team mates died last July. When we were at the funeral home that morning to form the line to the church, we all revved as the herse passed by and continued to rev until his family drove by. Reading this story brought back a lot of hard yet beautiful memories.

im just gonna disagree. the kid didn't wake up in the morning and say to himself "well ****, today im gonna crash my car and die" thats why they call them accidents. people don't mean for them to happen. and yes, he was probably driving beyond his means, BUT we will never know. anyway, its still cool. im done here

nobody ever says that. but if the cause of your accident is your own reckless behavior, then why should you be honored by people doing more reckless behavior? that makes no sense.

me and you have a different opinion of what reckless institutes. a bunch of guys doing burnouts in a street for someone is not reckless to me. hell 80mph on the highway is not reckless to me. like i said, we see things differently

I hope he contributed more to this world than just his love for cars. Not to be rude, but that is a meaningless way to "celebrate" a death.

you're right, a burnout could never cause any harm.
