what do you guys think?

i think im going to lose my lisence ,what do you guys think:about 3 weeks ago i recieved a notice in the mail saying my license will be suspended for 30 days for having too many points (14 points),the suspensoin started 2 days ago.about two weeks ago i got caught doing 87mph in a 55mph zone. i went and got a lawyer and i am going to court tommarow.if this wasnt bad enough ,yesterday i was driving down the same road and got a ticket for 70mph in 55,and my lisence was suspended so i got an awo (aggrivated unlisenced opperation i think)the worst part is that i am under my mothers insurance and once the insurance company finds out i will probally be kicked off.

You need to calm down...

It's a good thing you were caught because you could've killed yourself, someone else, or yourself and someone else by speeding. You brought this upon yourself.

Accept your 30-day fate... you're lucky that you'll get another chance to be drive again. Drive fast where it's legal.

To be honest..... sounds like you deserve it. You already have too many points, prob doing well over 90 in a 55 and get busted. Before you even go to court for that, you get busted on the SAME road for the same thing.

You obviously haven't learned yet, maybe a while without your license will help. At least you are not in jail for killing somebody's family!!
Consider yourself lucky and learn from what they give you.....

I just noticed that you're on your mom's insurance... that's bad... she's gonna have to pay more for just her insurance from your irresponsibility. If you get kicked off the insurance... I suggest you take even more responsibility and try to get your own insurance, but with a record like yours, you probably ruined that choice. That could also mean it would be a while before you'll be driving again. If I got one speeding ticket and I was on my mom's insurance, she'd kick me off faster than I could say "Sonic"... and that would be it. I hope you don't think this is unfair, because there are rules to be followed when driving and you disobeyed them. For your sake, I hope you do learn that driving is a priviledge and you can't drive like you wanna drive when it goes against the restrictions of what you have. Seriously... relax on the gas pedal... you've got more time than money and speeding tickets put together.

dang kids. hehe, j/k. for real though, chill out on the gas pedal man. I speed too, but you have to know your limits. you obviously haven't learned yet and I think you need/deserve these tickets so that you might learn what your limits are. peace.

depending on where you are, sometimes the speed limit is actually too slow, around here if youre going the speed limit then youre causing a traffic jam, and only old people do the speed limit. youre supposed to go a minimum of 5 over and normal driving is 10 over (under normal conditions obviously) going faster is going too fast and then you might get pulled over, but only complete a$$hole cops will even think about pulling you over for 10 over or less. ive gone 10 over with a cop behind me and i dont get bothered. if you do get pulled over and fight the ticket, 6mph is automatically subtracted from the speed you were going

How about you try and speed rationally? Like go 60 in a 55... that way you feel fast and almost never get a ticket. And don't speed at all when there's heavy traffic or bad weather. And if you choose to always go 20 or 30 over the speed limit, it's probably best for all of us if you hit a tree and total your car instead of taking it out on a minivan full of kids or something....

don't sweat lil blue civic this happened to my friend with the 98 lx sedan. your license wil be resuspended a few monts later ,you'll pay a dozen fees, your insurance will be more than your car payment but you'll keep your license . the state makes to much money off of giving people like you and my buddy tickets.
he's 20 and has been isued about 22-23 tickets.

I agree with mike... when you reach 12 points, you should've known better and slow down, drive like an adult, not a racer

after my second ticket, i haven't gone faster than 10 miles over and never race anymore, know when to quit!

Personally, on a freeway that's 65, I'd usually go 70-75. I know if I go 80+, I'd get caught. That's how I play... in a 30MPH zone, I'll go 35. I usually never go over 5MPH over the speed limit because that's when it's seriously unsafe. Crossing intersections at that speed mean you can't give the people who want to cross it a chance to get across especially if they're blinded.

i got 2 of those suspension letters at the same time for 2 different things. one was for not paying a ticket in NYC. And the other was cause they said i had no insurance but i did. so i waited to the last day to drive up to NYC and pay the ticket and come all the way back and show the reciept. that sucks
