i was looking at body kits online, and they had a pic of a Dol sol body kit and my dad came in and was like, whacha doin and he saw the delsol and was like THATS WHAT I WANT! hes been looking at buying a 73 mustang and the guy was like oooo its in perfect condition, but its a piece....lol so we went out looking for a delsol and we found a 96 delsol SI!!! with 160 hp and like a few mods...he fawking bought it for 11,2 on the SPOT!!! i thought my dad was a dong...but i guess not!!!!! were gonna make it for show, body kit, polished engine, yunno show stuff but its gonna have performance mods too if we hgave left over money! this kicks so much ***....it drives awsome[IMG]i/expressions/laugh2.gif[/IMG][IMG]i/expressions/laugh2.gif[/IMG][IMG]i/expressions/laugh2.gif[/IMG][IMG]i/expressions/laugh2.gif[/IMG][IMG]i/expressions/beer_yum.gif[/IMG][IMG]i/expressions/beer_yum.gif[/IMG][IMG]i/expressions/beer_yum.gif[/IMG]

Damn, he got a del sol like that? I'd take one of those still if I had a garage (I think it's gonna be filled with Hondas and Acuras). Those are nice! See if you can get pics of it. What color is it? hey i just got done washing it...lol its silver, with black leather interior...its missing one airvent...but thats like the only thing wrong with it...the clutch had a squeak and wd40 cured it... its so damn nice...only payed 5800 for it! i dont have a scanner or digital camera, but im prolly gonna end up getting one soon,or if i dont ill just get my friend to scan the pics like he did with my civic...

ok here my opinion of why he likes it:
older guys are into older fast american cars right? well the del sol resembles the pontiac fiero, a faster rear wheel drive car, so in theory they would naturlly like the flat rear glass honda del sol which is a faster, unique car! just my opinion lol

fieros were only like 130-50 hp but they were modded same w/ hondas so resemblance!

Too bad that the Fiero was a Pontiac parts car... they pretty much said "hey, lets throw all these parts together and see what we get!" if i recall correctly, the early models had cooling problems and would literally CATCH ON FIRE!!! and its also a shame that honda replaced the CRX with a car like the del slo....

Are you sure that your dad got a Del Sol Si? Because the Si is only a SOHC VTEC, pretty much a Civic EX. Now if your dad got the Del Sol VTEC, then you got a B16 with 160hp. So, which one did your dad get?

Oh he got the one with 160hp...the reason at first i sed he payed 11,2 for it was there were 2 he was looking at....one was 11,2 with 34k miles on it and one was 5800 with 113k miles and he got the one with 113k miles...i thought he got the 11,2 one, he never told me about the second one...oh well we dont even have it anymore...he sold it today i was pissed...when i woke up it was gone and the was a check for 16000 on the table, so he sold it to a dude with lots of money that lives up the street...his daughter really wanted it and offered that for it, dad couldnt refuse, so hes got another car in the garage right now on loan from a dealer friend...its a 1997 bmw z3, so i hope he buys it...its like 18,990 i think. so it would only be about 3k more total(w/ 3.375 AL tax) so i dunno well see, i dont know if i like the BMW or the Del Sol better....i miss the del sol...[IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/IMG] you cant rice out a beemer...lol well any suggestions will help!
