Procarparts.com any good? So far....NO

I ordered some projectors from them about two weeks ago. They billed and shipped quickly.

I installed them last Sunday, Feb 3. Since then, the drivers side light fogs and fills with water (You guys that have cleared know what I am talking about). I emailed them on the 7th stating that they fog and such. The passenger side is fine.

They replied and said I should take the light apart and let it dry. Then reseal it and reinstall. No thank you!!! - these are new lights and I should not have to hack one of them apart and deal with it. I replied on the 8th stating I was going to do that and have since heard nothing from them. I have contacted my CC and they are on hold ready to go until I hear something; I emailed Procarparts.com again today.......

Who else has dealt with them, and what was the result?? So far, I am NOT impressed!!

Mike

Everyone I have heard say they SUCK !! They are all like on ProCarparts.com

I personally have not ordered from them...luckily, I have 2 Import Performance shops close to
me, so I don't have to order very much off the web.

as far as saying to let em dry and reseal em, they dont mean to take em apart. Just take the headlight off and remove the bulbs, the let them set for a day or so, yeah right, if you dont have that kind of time then get a hair dryer and ust that to dry the inside...takes like 10 minutes if you want it bone dry. then just get some clear silicon and put a bead of it all around the light where the lens and backing come together. If you get all the water out with the dryer and put enought sealant on then this will fix the problem.

it should be easier than sending em back and waiting for a refund or replacement.

and as far as procarparts.com...i have no complaints, only delt with them a couple of times, but they are always nice to me and they always ship very fast.

hope this helps

I ordered a grill replacement from them. Not only did the misplace my order after I had already paid. But they gave me 3 different tracking numbers to 3 different peoples products, who didn't even live in the same state. When I called they were always busy or closed. I had to call their corporate branch to get a hold of someone. And then when I did get what I was supposed to, it was already 2 months late. And btw, they will only ship to confirmed paypal addresses, i fyou pay through paypal.

Thanks guys.......

I should not have to anything with new parts!! I did take the bulbs out and let it dry overnight. Still fogged and all. I will never deal with them again.

They even gave me instructions on how to "break" the two pieces apart and dry it (like when you clear stock lights). How pathetic!!!!

Thanks for the link fraga.

Received an email - how stupid.....

"Dear Sir:
We are sorry for the inconvenience. However, even OEM lights leak
sometimes.
Please try to dry it again. Or you can email us pictures to us. We will
check
it for you.

Thank you"

Yeah I went with there intake and it does not fit our cars it was the right one that they show on the website. They lowered the price cause they have had so many complaints. I have to cut it push it and use the factory boot reducer thing cause there's was not even close to fitting.
