Rep Power: 271 i work for an insurance company.
a guy came in wanting insurance for his new s2000
i look at his papers and i see he paid $51,xxx for it.
i am just commenting that I think that is REALLY high for a s2000...and that the poor guy got had by the dealership. unless im wrong....and thats a normal price...but i looked at www.edmunds.com and it said dealer price was somethin like 28 or 30k

Rep Power: 340 An S2K should run in the low-mid 30's. MSRP on a 2005 is $33,150. That thing better be slammed, turboed, and extremely modded or else that guy got taken to the cleaners.

He is trying to get lower insurance, obviously. I won't be surprised at all.

Rep Power: 0 My guess would be he traded in a car that he owed money on therefore the amount needed to pay off his old car would be tacked on to the new car.If this is the case the guy is an idiot anways.
