2003 civic's
Anyone have a clue when Honda will be releasing the 2003 Civic's? I LOVE the EBP, but not super crazy about the beige interior, I was hoping Honda might tweak it a lil bit and give it a black interior for 2003
The problem is, I'm planning to buy the Civic in May, and while I know they probably won't be out that early, I was just curious as to how long after that they would be... I don't think I could wait till, say, October

Rep Power: 0 they won't be out till september at the very earliest. you might be able to find out early on though what kinds of changes if any will be made on the 2003's...go to a dealer and ask if and when they'd know.

Rep Power: 0 from what i've seen in the past, they've used the same exact color schemes for the whole generation. then they slightly alter it for the next gen. i highly doubt the EBP will have anything but the beige. when i got my civic, i didn't even know it came in the EBP, then i saw one and was like wow, that's cool. now i see on their site they don't even make it in the clover green anymore. Speaking of, looks like there's gonna be a Civic Hybrid. Isn't that supposed to be released like next month? It's in a coupe... the rear of the car looks a bit shorter and the front lip looks different. Looks like this place might need some room for the electric Civics in the future. (110HP, too)

Rep Power: 0 Saw the hybrid yesterday at the auto show. Front is a little different but in rest it's all the same. It's a 4 door. The gauges on the inside are real nice, kinda look like a Lexus. Couple small things are different: chrome door handles and chrome shift surround.

How could they say it's a coupe? lol... just the front of it looks like a coupe. The cleared headlights... let me guess... amber bulb, right? (I think amber was used on the older models or there was a small reflector that was the same color.)

noooo.... maybe a coupe with an aftermarket bumper cover and a heavily-fiberglassed-and-bondo'd grille!
the sedan has a grille with 3 slots, the coupe has two. the hybrid has two with a really ugly infiniti qx4-type thing goin' on.
click the "hybrid package" button. stock altezza lights! lol... first jaguar (s-type), then nissan (new altima), now honda offers altezzas from the factory too?
as for the gauges, they do look more "up-scale" (ie, lexus etc) but they look very similar to the gauges on the 3.2TL. click the "hybrid performance" link. i'll try to post some pics from my dad's car ASAP. The TL's gas/temp gauges replace the hybrid's "IMA" pod on the right side of the cluster. heh... wonder if we could get those gauges for our civics? "wanna race!? i got vtec and ELECTRIC horses, biotch!" lol!
ha! and click the "equipment" link from the performance page. such ricey options like the windshield-mounted antenna, power fold-in mirrors (for squeezing in to narrow parking spaces/garages, or being more aerodynamic!), real HID lights, fog lights where fog lights should be (at the corners, not the middle, of the bumper like our civics), and those stylish 14-inch "tuner" rims are available.
boy, if only i could get altezza lights, 18" enkei rims, and an RS akimoto intake for an insight, i'd be all over those electric cars [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/IMG]
