paint.... WTF!!!!
ok, two days ago i looked at my hood and there were a bunch of chips in it... yesterday i looked at it again and i swear the number of chips dubbled... WTF!!!??? there is no gravel on the road or anything that could cause this. the only thing i caould imagine that would cause this is that i used some tar remover on the whole hood cause there were a lot of water spots that would not come off no matter what u used, the only thing that worked was the tar remover. afterwards i waxed the hood. would the tar remover cause the paint to be less durrable??? If it does then what else can i use to remove the spots cause i swear they are IMPOSSIBLE to remove. PLZ HELP!!!
I've got a black civic, and I haven't had too many probs yet. I use the oem touch up paint, but it never stays on for more than a couple of weeks (that is, if it is on the front). I use a half-nose mask a when I have to take relatively long trips on the interstate.....it helps.

if they call it normal wear and tear, tell them thats bullsh*t, if that were normal wear and tear on a car thats less than 2 years old (or even less than one, depending on when you got it), most 5 year old cars would look terrible.. but they dont
if they still say it is, take it to another dealer or call american honda
