Gauges
- ok , i received my indiglo gauges by ac this past week.
- but before i searched to see if i could do a diy today.
- well i had problems but i got some questions
1. can i just slip the ac gauges over the stock ones instead of removing the needles?
2. to power the ac gauges their is a little black box with two wires (black and red). supposedly i am supposed to hook the red wire to another wire in the cluster and the black to the ground wire. where is the ground wire in our car?
- any advice would be greatly appreciated

just wrap it around one of the screws. that should work i believe.
also, what kind of indiglo's are you using. APC SpeedGlo's require you to remove the needles. Not sure about the other ones.

Yeah what kind of gauges?
The ground...nice thing to learn how to do. When I was a stupid lad a while back, I didn't know jack crap. So when I wanted to ground stuff, I would extend the wire, and connect it to another ground wire. Sure enough it worked, but was it smart? No! Was it logical? No!
Hehe, so basically the ground/black wire can be connected to ANY metal surface (unpainted is prefered). So if you have a screw, or a bolt, just strip off the insulator off the wire, then wrap the wire under the screw/bolt and tighten the screw/bolt back. There you go. I would suggest actually using those little clips that go around the screw/bolt. Makes for a much cleaner install! If you have any more questions, let me know!

- ok, i understand how to ground the black wire.
- but, i got a question about the red wire. which red wire do i hook the other red wire. they're are like three wires in the blue cluster. but none on the green one.
