TB heater bypass question
Yes... I probly could've searched and found this out but. What are the pro's and con's of this mod. Winter is around the corner will this affect cold start's?
Yes, Ive realized on cold mornings, Ive had trouble starting my car (2 or 3 times to ignite). It doesnt affect the engine, but I guess since u live up north, u should switch it to stock till it gets warmer.

majority of ppl here complained about idle problems.... some none. It doesnt really help that much, but it's up to you. You live in PA, you have real winters so.... now is not a good idea.
This was already discussed. The mod amounts to little more than a ricer trick.
Ask Gearbox, i'm sure he could give you more details, he did it himself and reversed it cuz it fuqed up his idle...

some ppl swear by it, like aznsfrfboy or whatever it was, swore by it as being 1 of the best mods, little did ppl know that it's more than just unplugging a hose. In theory it should give more power b/c of the cooler temp.....
I did mine a little while back.
if you put your hand on the intake after a long drive, it's much cooler. it's most effective if you're using a cold air intake though ... if you have a short ram, don't bother.
if you have snow where you are, you probably shouldn't do it until summer.
