Yay got my car back!

Well just about a month ago I got into an accident.. was pretty bad. damage was at 4 grand or so to my car..

but after all these wait I finally got it back.

I dont think they fix it too well, but I guess I can deal with that later, at least I have it back for now though..

they swapped out my entire rear suppension... I duno, it feels more stiff now, I can feel a lot more of the road now... at first it was very bad where I got major headache... but after some more driving, it started to settle in... maybe the new shocks just needs to be broken in... I'm not too sure.

anyway, its good to have a car. at first I'd hope for a better ride quality after the replacement (was hoping they'll replace it with 02 parts or something) but yeah...

anyway I can finally understand why people get all happy and post about getting their car back. heh.

boy I miss shifting!!

Ya, a car is never the same after an accident... almost like getting a brand new car again, that you have to get used to.
Did they determine at fault yet for this accident, and any changes to your rates?

Good to hear that you're back on the road...

(BTW, what rental did they give you?)

insurance covered it. but i have a 1,000 deductible. lol.

rates are gonna go up pretty high. its my fault. sorta. (in either case I claim it my fault <- bad move right here, but I wasn't really thinking)

I sitll think there's some stuff to be worked out.. like the noise level is increased...

I have rental coverage, but I didn't get a rental, just got the money to even out some other cost.

I was driving an old toyota truck, and a 97 lx accord though.

the accord was overall a smoother ride of course, but obviously both of them were slow compare to my ex 5spd. (not that its any faster, but still faster.)

I can't wait to get my car back. By Monday, all the new parts should be on it, and by the end of next week, it should be ready. (It better be! I've been without a car since January 13th!)

Wait, I missed this... WHAT?! LOL... mine is $500! That must not have been your first accident or you've got a crappy insurance company!

hehe...yah..pretty high deductible...what you would do to get the price of insurance down..i think that sucks...i know how you feel too...got my car back almost a month ago to get it fixed and it took em about a month...the sad thing is that they didn't properly place the rad hose properly and the whole thing exploded under the hood in the middle of the hwy...sucks
