I drove a regular boxster, and that thing STICKS to the ground, i mean literally no body roll.

I believe that the porsches have reached almost perfect center of gravity with their cars, and I love the looks of them.

But i'm not going to track race anytime in my future, so porsche doubles as a DD for me.

One thing i dont like about lotus's
You simply draw too much attention in a lotus, especially with your chrome orange.
You cant go to the supermarket without people hovering your car going "LOOK ITS A LOTUS"
but in a porsche, people drive by and go "ooh, nice porsche"

And another thing is that lotus looks too....childish? like im stuck in my teen years or something...

I'm not saying they arent great cars, because they are. but I simply cant change my mind about my porsche. It's a set on goal.
I might even get the Panamera one day...
Yes, the look has grown on me.

The reason I went with an Elise instead of a Boxster Spyder is that the Elise was cheaper, and much more fun. The same things I hated about my Audi were present in the Boxster - very well engineered, but it always felt serious.
The final decision point was me - I want the next car to make me the best possible driver. The Elise will reward good driving and punish bad. The Boxster also rewards good driving, but it does a lot to cover up bad driving. I know I'll learn more, and have more fun, in the Elise.
This impresses me, the Lotus will definitely test you more than the luxury car brands.
