New Car!!!
i was thinking really hard recently and i dont want to keep on dropping money into my car because i want to either make it much faster(which is really hard) or do air ride and a new paint job and i jus dont think its worth it anymore, so i bought for sale signs for my car today and am asking $11,500 which I think is reasonable for an 02 civic ex coupe nhbp, xenon body kit, intake, megan racing cat-back exhaust, taillights and 17" Enkei Evo-5 rims with 40,300 miles on the car, i know I'm only 17, but i want a faster car that i can take to a track and whatnot, I FOUND IT!!!
97 Volkswagen GTI VR6 with a recently rebuilt motor with 5,000 miles on it with a stage 2 EIP tuning turbo kit with a stage 3 upgraded turbo and engine management
http://www.eiptuning.com/eip/vwa2a3stage2vr6turbo.html
http://www.eiptuning.com/eip/vwa2a3stage3vr6turbo.html
the guy has a body kit, lowered on coilovers and koni yellow struts 2 inches,16" white rims, stripped out back seat with the fuel tank and a nitrous bottle and a roll cage, momo steering wheel, apexi boost management, and a kenwood cd player
the guy is asking $10,000, what do u guys think about it????

I am not too sure about buying a car that is already upgraded.
I mean. it looks like this guy drive the car pretty hard. Look at all those performance upgrade and rebuilt motor.

You don't know what may or may have not been done to a v.boosted car like that. Thats why a lot of people take their turbo kits off their cars before they sell them, because they know it -kills- resale.
Same w. any aftermarket parts, people will part out all their mods before selling, because mods give the impression that the car has been beat up by some young kid who doesn't know how to drive.

woah... I'd try to get it at a cheaper price, that way, if anything comes up, you'll use the money you save from that transaction...
an already modified vehicle has its ups and downs. you're getting something someone else has changed, so the exact set-up is different from a stock one. people have worked on it and the quality of the work is questionable. fast cars tend to be driven fast.
personally though, I don't trust modded vw's...

300z is better. go get a jdm nissan motor. stock turboed. 40k miles. 2k shipped to you. go find a shell. better than a VW. and besides with boost like that you would probably need to run like 109 octane or something like that. that **** is like 5 bucks a gallon and does not come at a normal gas station. i don't believe that car is a daily driver. and if you get it you would basically have to take everything apart to make sure its all ok. good luck

I regretfully (<---spelling??) bought a VW as my first car.. it was newer (2000) i only had it a year or less and the day i went to buy my Civic
, it died
.. just stopped running.. i ended up having a HUGE roll over onto my civic.. with the payments on my civic so high... i could have bought a BMW. So now i tell everyone NOT to buy a VW!!!
