up to what extent will u be nice and courteous??? this website was intended for fellow civic owners to talk about their viechels, and help each other....but last nite i was followed by a ford explorer and stopped me in front of my place and asked me about my cleared headlights so he can do the same for his girlfriend's car...also i went to pep boys and i saw two other civics with sidemarkers and cleared headlights, ...( andi know clearing of the headlights has been going on for a while with other civics b4 ours)
in my opinion we modify our cars to be different and represent individuality...but up to waht extent will that happen?? its different for the mebers on the forum but the general public which i mean general as in epople who dun't know jack **** about cars or people who were never into cars who juss wanna make their car look "cute" i'm not complaining about nothing and i i dun't mind it that much ....but would all you mind if everyone's civic started looking the same and stock civics would be the ones that would stand out?? just a question to bring up...

That is why the little things matter. The accent color, your interior, your stereo. you can only do some much modding different from someone else. That is why people like Turtle do things differently and new. People will try and test the car to do something new. I haven't seen anyone esle with clear headlights besides people from this site.

Good point, although I think that there are so many combinations of things that can be done to our cars that's it almost impossible for another dude to have exactly the same things as you have. Just get more mods, that way your car will have a bigger chance of being unique. I'll post all the DIY's I can to help people with stuff. That's what this forum is for anyway. Not to keep your mods to yourself, but to help each other out with this and that. Unless someone is doing exactly the same thing as you I don't see it as a problem. Funny, you're the second female to bring up this topic. Is this a chick thing or what?

joe just keeps getting better... but he knows a lot more about cars than most high school ricers so he's cool

I decided not to put windshield sprayer lights on my car because I actually saw a redneck with them on his jacked up pickup yesterday. Made me sick almost. So now I only plan on doing mods that are fairly original and nothing that makes me look much faster than I really am. I guess it's up to us to spend the time and $$ to keep above the pack of half-assed tuners

I don't see any problem in helping people out, as long as it's for a civic, integra wrx or other import. I hate it when people in a Z24 or sunfire or some other American pos comes up to me and asks about perf parts. I hate American cars. You guys can rag on me for it, but I absolutely hate them, more than I hate most things.
As for us Import tuners. If we could clear every civic's headlights, add rims to them, drop them the stereotype would change from cheap economical transportation, to bad A$$ ride. You would see a greater availability of products and at cheaper prices. So help some people out
